Contributions to the Edison International Political Action Committee (EIPAC) are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. You must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident (i.e. green card holder residing in the U.S.) to contribute to EIPAC. Federal law requires EIPAC to use its best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of the employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year. Contributions to the Edison International Political Action Committee (EIPAC) will be used in connection with federal and some state elections, and are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal Election Campaign Act and applicable state law. Guidelines for contributing are merely suggestions. You may contribute more or less than the guidelines suggest or nothing at all, and you will not be favored or disadvantaged by reason of the amount of your contribution or your decision not to contribute; and EIPAC may report contributions it receives to the Federal Election Commission that are less than $200 in aggregate per calendar year.
